In San Francisco, some hi-rise buildings provide ownership of their units, designed for the way you want to live, a housing cooperative, in which the residents own shares of a corporation that owns the building or development; or in a condominium, whose residents own their apartments and share ownership of the public spaces.

Apartment buildings are multi-story buildings where three or more residences are contained within one structure.
